"Waiting On" Wednesday: Love in Mid Air

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted here, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

This week's pre-publication "can't-wait-to-read" selection is:

Love in Mid Air
By Kim Wright
Publication Date: March 29

From Amazon:

A chance encounter with a stranger in an airplane sends Elyse Bearden into an emotional tailspin. Suddenly, Elyse is willing to risk everything: her safe but stale marriage, her seemingly perfect life in an affluent Southern suburb, and her position in the church. As Elyse embarks on a risky affair, her longtime friend Kelly and the other women in their book club begin to question their own decisions about love, sex, marriage, and freedom. In the end it will take an extraordinary leap of faith for Elyse to find--and follow--her own path to happiness.

This recently got a starred review in Publishers Weekly: "Wright hits it out of the park in her debut, an engaging account of a woman contemplating divorce...Though this story is one that readers may have seen many times before, Wright delivers fresh perspective and sympathetic characters few writers can match."

What's your "waiting on" pick this week?

  50. I followed the link you left on my book blog to here... Yeah, looks like you've been blogging for quite a while:))

Did you write a review on Firfly Lane? Can we read it?

Also, about this upcoming book "Love in Mid Air", it just has this vibe that's just not my cup of tea... I personally don't think I'll like this book, and I predict that this book won't make the best seller list like Firfly Lane did.. Just my own opinion...
