    This actually made me laugh. My cars never changed much but when they did it meant something else than better paying jobs. It is a unique idea for a novel and one I imagine everyone can relate to.

    Oh, I like the sound of this one! So completely typical, too, charting the course of a marriage by outside objects...in this case, cars. Me, I usually think in terms of the houses!

    I think that's a really clever way to explore people's lives: through the cars they have and had! (Then again, I've never owned a car...does that mean I've never really lives?? ;)
