"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted here, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.
This week's pre-publication "can't-wait-to-read" selection is:
The Weird Sisters
By Eleanor Brown
Publication Date: February 17
From Amazon:
The Andreas family is one of readers. Their father, a renowned Shakespeare professor who speaks almost entirely in verse, has named his three daughters after famous Shakespearean women. When the sisters return to their childhood home, ostensibly to care for their ailing mother, but really to lick their wounds and bury their secrets, they are horrified to find the others there. But the sisters soon discover that everything they've been running from--one another, their small hometown, and themselves--might offer more than they ever expected.
What's your "waiting on" pick this week?

Wierd sisters sounds pretty intriguing! Kind of funny that their father spoke in verse :)
i love shakespeare, this looks really good! thanks for sharing!
At first, the title reminded me of that little band that was in Harry Potter 4, the one that played during the Yule Ball. LOL. My mistake.
What secrets do these sisters have?
I always love your WoW's, because they usually involve books I have never even HEARD of. I've added almost every single book to my tbr the past three weeks. xD Anyway, this definitely looks intriguing! :)

Weird Sisters sound like a book I would really enjoy. Love the Shakespearean influence and my sister and I are caring for our elderly father so I have a true connection to the premise of this book too.

That's funny, because in my high school English class, our teacher called me and two of my friends "the weird sisters" when we were reading that play.
I don't think he meant it as a compliment!

Sounds intriguing - thanks for sharing this one. My "wow" of the week is a book called, "Borneo Tom," by Tom McLaughlin. The author is a retired biology teacher who writes about his adventures in Malaysia along with some hilarious sketches.
Whoa that sounds interesting. I probably am going to add that to my list.
Thanks for posting this...I'm a little excited waiting on it, too!
And Kathy, fear not - they actually do speak normally most of the time. :)
