When Edward Schuyler, a modest and bookish 62-year-old science teacher, is widowed, he finds himself ambushed by female attention. The problem is that Edward doesn’t feel available. But then his stepchildren surprise him by placing a personal ad in The New York Review of Books on his behalf. Gradually, reluctantly, he begins dating, and his encounters are variously startling, comical, and sad.     Sounds like a really interesting premise. I'm sure this sort of situation occurs quite a bit in real life. A 62 year old man, just getting back into the dating game would make for a great read.

    That book sounds so cute! I always wish that my grandma would start dating again because she's always alone at home, but she just says, "I don't need a man." And I love her for it! :)
