"Waiting On" Wednesday: Home Front
This week's pre-publication "can't-wait-to-read" selection is:
Publication Date: January 31
From a distance, Michael and Joleen Zarkades seem to have it all: a solid marriage, two exciting careers, and children they adore. But after twelve years together, the couple has lost their way; they are unhappy and edging toward divorce. As a military family the notion of deployment is never out of the realm of possibility. But when it actually happens it seems to tear their already fragile family apart, sending one of them deep into harm’s way and leaving the other at home, waiting for news. When the worst happens, each must face their darkest fear and fight for the future of their family.
What's your "waiting on" pick this week?

I like the colors on the cover!
I have Night Road on my shelf by this author, waiting to be read. All her books have a similar cover sensibility. Nice choice!
I accidentally entered my link twice. Sorry!
I love the photo on the cover of this book. Very pretty!
I haven't read any Kristan Hannah books. I've been interested in Night Road. I love the cover of the one you're reading now. I'll have to check both out!
Awesome WoW this week, sounds good.
While that doesn't really sound like something I'd normally be interested, it might be worth giving a shot.
I have to be in the mood for the whole "marriage in crisis" thing, but I know often times they're some of the most satisfying endings.
Happy Wednesday! Never heard of that book until now, I hope you like it! It sounds like one of those heart-wrenching, emotional stories :)
great wow. thanks for this meme
I haven't participated in a couple of weeks - glad to be back!
I never heard of Night Road until now. Sounds like an interesting read.
Thanks for the intro to it!
I love Kristin Hannah - and the fact that she regularly publishes a book almost every year. I'll be looking forward to this one.
The cover looks very pretty! :)
I really like Kristin Hannah. I've read her recent novels and want to go back and read her earlier books. Home Front sounds good. Hard to believe we're thinking about 2012 releases!
This cover looks like one from a previous book of hers (at least the colors are the same).....enjoy
I have never read any of her books, but I did just pick up two or three of them at Goodwill last week. Hope they're good!
Oh, I'm excited about this one, too! I love Kristin Hannah's books....thanks for sharing.

Your choice looks great. Thanks!
That's sure to be a great one!
This sounds like a good read--I can't believe I've never read anything by Kristin Hannah!
I haven't read any Kristen Hannah books but I'm trying to branch out into more contemporary reads. It looks interesting.
That sounds very emotional. It's a beautiful cover too.
I can't wait to see what everyone is waiting for!!
This is my first time linking up. I love the meme!
Hmmm, very handsome choice for a book. Sounds like the winter will bring many benefits to book lovers.
My WoW is coming next spring:
I have read two Kristin Hannah books in the past month and LOVED them! Looking forward to this one!
This one sounds really interesting, and I love the cover!
I love Kristin Hannah's books. This one is on my '2-read' list as soon as I can get it!
I'm a little be late, all those entries,my goodness! WOW is popular!
I'm yearning for three books (really more, but three for now, lol)
Kristin Hannah writes some good books. I read one long ago that featured a not quite perfect leading man - best romance style I've read in a while. :)
I haven't read any books by this author, but she seems to sell pretty well at the bookstore where I work.
lol I got my name wrong its kate not kit anymore
I loved the cover, is so beatiful
Thanks for the weekly hop! I just added our blog to it, "Hippies, Beauty, and Books. Oh My!"
I like you choice to. I'm making a note of it. Hopefully someday my to-read list will shrink. Some day.
Hippies, Beauty, and Books. Oh My!
hm, never seen this book. I love the cover though. I might check it out later.
Thanks for the meme!!! I ♥ it!!! :))
Wow this sounds good. Being in a marriage with someone always away is hard enough, but it it is true love then sometimes you have to fight for it. I haven't been married long going on 3 years but me and my husband have been together going on 9. We were apart for 8 months one time and it was so hard. I can't imagine doing that all the time. I know though that marriage is wonderful but you do have to work at it. So this book sounds like they have to decide if it is worth fighting for, and that means the fighting is more closer to home.
I just can't get over how awesome this meme is! There are just so many awesome books that people are waiting on!
Here's my WOW! And you can check out my 100 Followers Giveaway if you have the time! :)

I love Kristen Hannah books.... I will absolutely be reading this one.
She is one of my favorite authors, thanks for the update.
Just stumbled across this and it looks excellent! Thanks~
I hadn't heard of this one before, and while it doesn't seem like something I'd normally read, it does sound intriguing.
That's a great cover, though I don't think the story would be in my wheelhouse.
My pick this week is Flame of Surrender by Rhiannon Paille. Sounds like the first in what will be a pretty epic fantasy series.
Working for the Mandroid
Wow this is a neat idea! Can't wait to add it to my blog! : )
