"Waiting On" Wednesday: Another Piece of My Heart

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted here, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

This week's pre-publication "can't-wait-to-read" selection is:

Another Piece of My Heart
By Jane Green
Publication Date: March 20

From Amazon:

Andi has spent much of her adult life looking for the perfect man, and at thirty-seven, she's finally found him.  Ethan--divorced with two daughters, Emily and Sophia--is a devoted father and even better husband.  Always hoping one day she would be a mother, Andi embraces the girls like they were her own. But in Emily’s eyes, Andi is an obstacle to her father’s love, and Emily will do whatever it takes to break her down. When the dynamics between the two escalate, they threaten everything Andi believes about love, family, and motherhood—leaving both women standing at a crossroad in their lives…and in their hearts.

Ah. Doesn't everyone want the perfect man. Yet, I don't think they exist, lol.

This sounds like a really intriguing novel. I enjoy reading about difficult family dynamics from time to time. Of course, emotions run high with this type of book -- but that's precisely what makes it so compelling! Great choice!! : )

The only other book that I've read by Jane Green is Jemima J and I loved it. This book sounds like it will be a good one too.

Emily sounds a bit like how I acted when I was young and my father remarried. That makes me what to read it even more.

I love Jane Green so this one will definitely be going on my list. That said I don't think I read the 2011 Jane Green release so this reminds me to go and look that up as well.
