It's officially Spring Break here in Alabama! My nieces go to private school, so their break was last week, and we headed down to our annual spot at WaterSound on beautiful 30A in Florida (pictured above).
I always post my Beach Book preview this week each year, so here we go! Five of my favorite "summer" authors have new books coming out...you'll want to put these on your list!
By Dorothea Benton Frank
"Filled with her trademark wit, sassy, heartwarming characters, and the steamy Southern atmosphere and beauty of her beloved Carolina Lowcountry, The Hurricane Sisters is New York Times bestselling author Dorothea Benton Frank’s enchanting tale of the ties and lies between generations."
Save the Date
By Mary Kay Andrews
By Mary Kay Andrews
"A Savannah florist is about to score the wedding of a lifetime—one that will solidify her career as the go-to-girl for society nuptials. Maybe love really does exist outside of fairy tales after all."
By Nancy Thayer
"Friendship takes center stage in New York Times bestselling author Nancy Thayer’s captivating, emotionally charged novel that features all the tenderness and wit, drama and romance, readers have come to expect from this insightful, much-loved writer."
By Mary Alice Monroe
"A poignant and heartwarming story of three half-sisters and their grandmother, who is determined to help them rediscover their Southern roots and family bonds."
By Elin Hilderbrand
"A touching new novel from bestselling author Elin Hilderbrand in which a woman sets out to find love for those closest to her - before it's too late."
What books are already on your summer reading wish list?
The books on my list are The Vactioners by Emma Straub and Mrs. Hemmingway by Naomi Wolf.
These all look good! I already have The Hurricane Sisters on my list.
How fun!!!! These all sound great!
The latest by Diana Gabaldon due out June 10th as well as the START premiere of 16 episodes of the first book, Outlander. Jamie and Clark are among the greatest of literary couples.
I thought Save the Date was fun and I'll probably use an audible credit for The Hurricane Sisters. Love your list!
